Comments for Former pastor and punk-rocker says it can be good to hate at http://christianpress.com/content , comment 1 to 1 out of 1 comments http://christianpress.com/content Fri, 12 Mar 2010 10:08:16 +0100 FeedCreator 1.7.3 http://christianpress.com/content/entertainment/bookreviews/406-former-pastor-and-punk-rocker-says-it-can-be-good-to-hate#comment-139 the perfector and renewer of our faith hates sin but he is without sin. we are sinful and it is difficult for us to hate only sin as our creator. we are imperfect though our hope is in his perfection. hate is a slippery slope for us. it is more important for us to know where our own hearts lie and the reason we allow our hearts to fall. the question should not be whether it is proper for us to hate or not. but rather where our own hearts lay when we hate. our hatered is a beacon to our selves that we are with fault and need to recognize that jesus christ did not sacrifice for us to seperate. his sacrifice was for unity and our sinful nature seperates us from an understanding of knowing sin will one day no longer exist. hate is only a waste clouding our vision from what is important. we are imperfect sinful creations intended for greater things. in dier need of a perfect savior. hate is not necesary for us when his love for us is aparant in our own lives. this is not an excuse for ignorance nor turning a blind eye. it is rather a call to understand ones self when we are aware of hate in our own lives. we will find hate in out hearts but the question is why and what good or greater purpose could the hatered in our own hearts ever serve. i choose to love because it goes against everything i am and i am a sinful evil man in need of a savior. - ac freed Sat, 03 Oct 2009 13:07:49 +0100
