YUCAIPA, CA (ANS) -- If you are like me you believe what today countless men of God are proclaiming by the Spirit that Jesus is coming back very soon. But have you ever thought about if the Rapture happened tomorrow, how would the media, the Government, even most people of the world explain what had happened?

Would they admit that Jesus came and took millions of people away? Can you imagine the evening news anchorman proclaiming that the reason all those people have suddenly disappeared today is because Jesus came and took them? If you think about it in today's sinful world and what would actually happen, they would not. Most would not concede to the belief in God's Word.

So then, how will the world explain away the truth of the Rapture once it happens?

As a student and teacher of Bible Prophecy for many years, I had often considered this question. After all, if we as Christians believe in the reality of the Rapture, and the chaos that will occur once it happens, how is the world at large going to explain it? And is it possible that for decades Satan has been setting the stage so that the world's explanation will help usher in the anti-christ and his New World Order?

But even more alarming for us now, what does the Bible reveal about this coming deception by Satan to cover up the truth of the Rapture that will cause many who call themselves Christians to "fall away"; that mysterious Apostasy the apostle Paul warns us about in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3; that sudden delusion that MUST happen right before Jesus returns in the Rapture? What kind of demonic supernatural event could occur to deceive the people of the world to believe a delusion instead of the truth behind the Rapture? And what would be the horrific ramifications of that world-shaking delusion that it will cause many not grounded in their faith to abandon God?

As I thought about this coming Apostasy that Paul warns us about I began to study it fervently. As a student of history and Bible Prophecy I began to piece together around this coming Apostasy past events in history along with coming end times events that suddenly began to fit together like a fantastic puzzle.

From the Great Pyramid in Egypt to the United Nations General Assembly, from the supposed destruction of the Galileo space mission to the mystery behind the UFOs I could see Satan's centuries old plan to rule the earth approaching rapid and terrible conclusion very soon. The Lord then began to reveal to me how the devil has been preparing in recent decades, spreading in many ways the seeds of this great deception to cover up the Rapture and reveal his man of perdition, the anti-christ. Through knowledge of history, and then people God supernaturally brought across my path to reveal to me hidden secrets, I began to understand how Satan's dark forces have made contact with his human counterparts in the governments, media, and movies. Together they have perpetuated this coming deception along with Satan's extraterrestrial illusions; demons shape-shifting as UFOs.

Then the Lord compelled me to write a novel called The Apostasy, putting all this information together along with fictional characters in a very possible scenario that could easily take place very soon. I present it not as if this is exactly what is going to happen, but to warn Christians that some kind of terrible delusion is on the horizon that the devil is hoping will cause many to lose their faith right before the Rapture. I believe it will be the determining assault that will divide the chaff from the wheat. When it occurs, God wants us to be prepared and aware not only for ourselves, but to warn others that it is a lie no matter how real it seems.

Those of us who have a solid personal relationship with Jesus should not fear the coming days before His return. We know that He has assured us that, "He will be with us always, even unto the end."
