According to Bobby, "The night after Christmas we were home and some time during the night someone got into our van and stole a lot of my musical equipment that I use to do my ministry. They also stole the kids dvd player and some of their dvd's and cds. They also made off with my GPS that I rely on to get me from place to place."
When Bobby reported the theft to his insurance company, they wouldn't cover the claim because, as a full time artist, he uses the equipment for his job. In 2009, Bobby, with his wife and four children, traveled through 35 states and 4 Provinces in Canada, performing 160 dates and racking up about 60,000 miles on their van. This loss will be a difficult one for them to absorb. The Gospel Music Times is asking any of our readers who can to send a donation to Bobby and his family to help them with the expense of replacing this equipment. For every $20.00 or more donation, Bobby will send a copy of his latest cd, "Tracks Left Behind". You can make a donation through PayPal from Bobby's website, http://www.bobbybowen.com/.
