On March 8, outside The Salvation Army’s classroom doors, a miracle occurred in the midst of chaos. A young pregnant woman in labour walked into The Salvation Army facility that houses the Army’s current school and clinic in Port-au-Prince.

With a legacy history of giving back and helping others, Joyce Meyer Ministries will be recognized with a special resolution for outstanding humanitarian and community service by the City of St. Louis during a special 10 a.m. worship service at the St. Louis Dream Center on Sunday, October 11, 2009. Joyce Meyer will be on hand to accept the honor from city alderman Antonio French and deliver a special message during the service.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 12 -- As job losses and foreclosures have adults and their families moving back in with their parents, at least one nonprofit organization sees an opportunity to deepen family bonds and is offering tools to help.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, since last year, 19.9 million adults have moved back in with their parents, an increase of 2.1 million compared to five years ago. |
