One of the more popular topics among Christians today is the “end times.” With each significant news story, a correlation between it and end times events prophesied in the Bible is sought. Because of recent military activities and tensions in Russia and Israel, the end times event prophesied in the Bible called “The War of Gog and Magog” is now a red hot topic. Ezekiel 38/39 tells how Gog, the powerful leader from the land of Magog, will lead a confederacy of nations to invade Israel during the end times and start a war of unprecedented size and devastation.

The failure of the bipartisan super committee to take decisive action to reverse the 15 trillion dollar debt crisis this country needs from becoming another Greece has, predictably, failed. Now the Washington blame game begins. However, the greatest losers are the American people and, specifically, those Americans who courageously and proudly wear the uniform of the armed services.

Here's the plot of the most popular movie in America: a brooding teen marries her vampire lover, whose family strikes an uneasy alliance with a jealous werewolf to protect the bride and the baby she's carrying. I had to find that summary online since I didn't see the latest installment of The Twilight saga, which apparently puts me in the minority.

God should have sued Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson for defamation, says New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof.
Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, the two Christian leaders ventured that America’s secularists, liberals, feminists, homosexuals, and abortion rights supporters had angered God, and thus deserved some of the blame.

Many of our “progressive” friends in government identify immigrants who are here illegally as ‘undocumented immigrants’ instead of common references like ‘illegal aliens.’ Somehow in their thinking the term ‘illegal aliens’ is demeaning. One of the most powerful liberals in Washington D.C., House of Representatives Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (SF) goes so far as to say that undocumented aliens are, in her estimation, “heroes.” In an address she made in a bay area church, Pelosi also labeled U.S. Border Patrol ICE Agents as “un-American.” While many Democrats across the country continue to push for amnesty and defend the President’s weak border policy, is it any wonder why most of the estimated 12-22 million people who are here illegally have little respect for this country’s laws?
